7 Signs It’s Time For A Checkup

 

Sometimes it may seem easier to put off scheduling your regular dental appointment, however if you experience any of these symptoms, then it is time to check in with your dentist and make sure you avoid any potential lasting damage.

  1.   Stained Teeth

Teeth occasionally get stained from causes including; coffee, smoking or that second glass of red wine. Generally, stains go away after brushing however if you notice your teeth are not sparkling it may be time to organise a professional clean.

  1.   Bleeding Gums

There are a few different reasons why gums may start to bleed during brushing, some are temporary and some are a symptom of other underlying issues. If you notice that your gums bleed regularly, you will need to discuss with your dentist.

Jaw pain is frequently brought on by teeth grinding or other dental conditions and can become a constant throbbing pain. Identifying the root cause of the pain is the first step in treatment. If you’re suffering jaw pain, seeking a professional opinion will prevent the condition worsening.
